A Guide to the Growth of AR Wearables

Augmented Reality Smart Glasses have come a long way since Google Glass – in many ways I’m surprised the idea actually survived given the backlash against the first iteration of AR Wearables.

A recent sector guide has been created by Ron Padzensky and published by arglassesguide.com and its a very detailed guide.

Key Takeaways:

  1. The ROI enterprise early adopters are realising is pretty impressive!
  2. That Android still dominates the device space doesn’t surprise me, but does surprise me given Apple’s significant investments in AR
  3. Gesture control has a far greater share of common UI approaches – this augers very well for leading vendors like Leap Motion.
